Bolton School Senior Girls
Year 9 Girls Rise to Duke of Edinburgh Challenge
The whole of Year 9 at Bolton School Girls’ Division signed up for the Duke of Edinburgh Award, and each of the 107 girls who went on the expedition to Patterdale Hall, the School’s outdoor adventure learning centre, succeeded in becoming self-sufficient for two days.
The girls spent six hours each day in planned activities, and succeeded in cooking their own meals and camping out overnight as part of the expedition.
