Boys to Represent North West in National Golf Final

Friday, 17 May 2013

Three Bolton School Sixth Form boys managed a very convincing golfing victory over Rossall School in the ISGA Area Plate Final.

The boys won the fixture 79 – 58, in golfing terms a superb result. The three boys involved were Sam Towers, Chris Warner and Benito O’Loughlin; all three boys played well in extremely difficult decisions.

As a result of the victory, Bolton School have been invited to the National Plate Finals in London on the 26th June. The golf club holding this year’s event is The Shire - a very prestigious course designed by the late Sevé Ballesteros.
