Haseeb Scores Two Centuries in One Day

Lancashire Academy player and England U17 Captain Haseeb Hameed guided Bolton School through to the North West semi-finals of the HMC T20 Competition. He scored an unbeaten century in each of the group games.
Against Merchant Taylor's Crosby, Haseeb racked up a score of 117 runs, including 16 boundaries, which helped build a total score for the team of 156-3. Liam Jenkins took 4-12 in restricting the opposition to 88-7 off their 20 overs.
In the group final against Lancaster RGS, Chris Brownlow took 3-19 to contain the opposition to 151-4. Haseeb then took control of the game with another unbeaten century (101) to ensure a victory by 7 wickets with an over to spare. With this spectacular performance from Haseeb, the Bolton School team worked their way to a second victory with a score of 152-3.
Over the course of the day, Haseeb single-handedly hit 31 boundaries, including 13 sixes, in two stunning displays of controlled batting.
