Oliver is Bolton's Secondary School Pupil of the Year

Tuesday, 03 November 2015

Oliver Fielding, a recent recruit to the Boys’ Division Sixth Form at Bolton School, has scooped the Bolton News’s Secondary School Pupil of the Year Award. Oliver attended Kearsley Academy until he left there this Summer with 8 A*s, 2 As and a B in his GCSEs.

Oliver chose Bolton School as he was well aware of its reputation and enjoyed attending Ogden Physics events held at the School. He is now enjoying his A level studies in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. He hopes to go on to study Mathematics at degree level at either Cambridge or Warwick.

He will attend the Bolton News Awards Ceremony at the Holiday Inn on Thursday 19 November, along with his parents. Secondary School Teacher of the Year, Mrs Julia Head, who retired from Bolton School Girls’ Division in the Summer will also be at the event to pick up her award.
