Members of the Class of 2014 returned to School at the end of term to talk to the Sixth Form about their experiences since they left Bolton School. They were able to provide an insight into university life, the world of work, and what it’s like to take a gap year.
The Recent Leavers Event included the opportunity for current pupils to speak to alumni on a one-to-one basis, followed by an informative question and answer session. Pupils asked about a range of topics, touching on the different between campus and city universities, the typical amount of lecture hours, money management, UCAS applications. Old Boys and Old Girls were able to provide some very useful advice on these and other topics.
At the end of the School day, alumni were invited to the Leverhulme Suite in the Riley Sixth Form Centre for drinks and canapés. They were able to chat and reminisce with friends about their time at School as well as meeting with their former teachers to catch up.
