Bolton School Sixth Form Boys

School to train at Real Madrid CF Academy

Thirty seven Bolton School footballers will make an Easter visit to Madrid to take on the very best in Europe. The three Bolton School teams will eat, sleep and train at the Spanish FA where the national side is based. They will train at the Real Madrid CF Academy and play fixtures against local sides, Dos Cantos and Aganda Del Ray. The boys will also get to watch some live La Liga action and tour the famous Bernabeu Stadium.

Trip organiser and first team coach, Mr Mark Chilton, said: “The tour offers a great opportunity for the teams to use the same facilities and play on the same pitches as the world’s best. The boys have put a lot of hard work and commitment in over the season and the tour will be a fitting end to Bolton School football for those in Year 13 who will leave for university next year. We are very grateful to local accountancy firm Cowgill Holloway, who have supported the tour by providing football shirts.”
