"When I return to Bolton School to talk to pupils about entrepreneurship, my message is to 'go for it'. This is an attitude that I had instilled in me during my time at the school where my curiosity was fuelled and I became interested in ideas."

Girls Join Santa Dash for Charity

Thursday, 06 December 2012

Sixth form girls and staff completed a ‘Santa Dash’ 5km run dressed as Santa in order to raise sponsorship money for a variety of charities.

Eight and a half thousand people gathered from all over the UK to participate. Olympic gymnast, Beth Tweddle officially started the race as Liverpool took on Las Vegas once again, for the ‘Largest Santa Gathering’ in a bid to win the World Santa Dash Challenge.

Liverpool unfortunately did not manage to gain the record this year but they will be attempting it again in 2013 and the Girls’ Division intend to take part again.
