Golfer Ellie Becomes County Captain

Year 12 golfer Ellie Broome has been selected as the new Cumbria County Junior Captain.

She has been a member of the Cumbria Girls’ Elite Golf team for just over a year, and was re-selected for the U18s squad in April. Shortly before sitting her GCSE examinations, she also became the first girl to hold the position of Junior Captain at her local Kirby Lonsdale Golf Club.
