Thorrun Tackles Dangerous Drivers with ITV
Wednesday, 18 August 2010
Sixth form pupil Thorrun Govind is helping to tackle the problem of dangerous drivers by making a mini-documentary with the support of ITV.
The ITV Fixers programme has been developed by the Public Service Broadcasting Trust, with the support of youth volunteering charity V and the Nationwide Foundation. They are working with ITV regions across England to help 16 - 25 year olds tackle the problems they care about, and take some responsibility for making their communities a better place to live and work.
Thorrun's documentary is called Drive Smart, Drive Safe and aims to show teenagers the consequences of reckless driving. When completed she hopes to distribute her documentary to test centres and schools.
