Welcome to Beech House

Tracey Taylor 2.jpg

Welcome to Beech House – a state-of-the-art infant school where high standards, a warm, family atmosphere and an emphasis on fun go hand in hand.

At Beech House, Bolton School's Infant School for 4-7 year olds, we aim to give all our pupils a confident, happy start to school life. We offer bright children the opportunity to develop their individual talents in a secure, caring environment where they enjoy the very latest facilities and technology whilst benefiting from our best traditions of high standards of care and achievement.

We value the different experiences and personalities of our children and enjoy watching them grow and progress through Bolton School. Our latest inspection report in 2016 assessed our EYFS teaching as being “outstanding”.

We firmly believe that every child has talents and we try to provide as wide a variety of activities as possible so that every child can experience success. Our curriculum is carefully planned to give our children the skills and knowledge they need to become responsible, thoughtful young people.

Beech House children move, at the age of seven, to Hesketh House, our Girls' Junior School or to Park Road, our Boys' Junior School. Links between the departments are strong.

Parents with younger children are now preparing their child for Infant School by enrolling them in our new Nursery Class for 3 and 4 year olds, or by sending them to our Nursery

Please come and visit us to see for yourself our very special school.

  1. RT @RiviSixthForm: A fabulous group of year 12 students from schools and colleges across Bolton attended our second Oxford and Cambridge University information day. Thank you to all involved. https://t.co/6UJQsw0q15 https://t.co/IK7kpzqVuP about 3 hours ago
  2. RT @nfordteacher: Also preferred the layout separating software and hardware. Meant I could be much more focussed but also meant the speaker zones were quieter and it was easier to move around. Always good to catch up with #appleeduchat people to discuss future projects and compare notes about 5 hours ago
  3. RT @nfordteacher: Interesting 2 days @Bett_show. Great to meet @priyalakhani on the @ThisIsCentury stand and hear about future plans. Had a lot of meetings with people who all offer maths solutions. Maths is already well populated with products, someone really needs to develop some MFL/Hums. Tech about 5 hours ago
