Kidzone
Now in its third decade, Kidzone at Bolton School offers high quality childcare facilities for pupils up to the age of 11.
Children feel happy and safe at Kidzone; they find an environment that is supportive, encouraging and challenging – a great place to be with friends and to make new ones, to try out new activities, to relax and to have fun.
Kidzone has adopted an Inclusive Playcare Model and provides a wide range of activities, including arts and crafts, games and sports and usage of a computer suite. High standard childcare at Kidzone is affordable, flexible and suits most individual requirements.
Our family loves Kidzone. Our daughter loves the friendly staff, fun activities. We as parents love the flexibility of the opening hours and the ease of having everything included. We can just drop our daughter off and trust she will be cared for and have a lovely time.

Our Breakfast Club begins at 7.30am. Children can enjoy a range of activities and choose from cereal, toast and a range of breakfast options served until 8.20am. Girls and boys are then escorted to relevant settings in time for school.
Our After-School Club is ideal if you need to work late or if you find that meeting your child from school is a rush. Boys and girls are picked up from each department and escorted to Kidzone where they can enjoy an after-school snack, a range of activities or begin their homework. We also collect children from after-school clubs at Bolton School. This service is available until 6.00pm.
Our Holiday Club runs throughout the year and offers an opportunity for children to socialise with friends and make new ones. We offer many activities through fun themes, trips and visits and with the added use of the School’s sports facilities.
This flexible service allows the options of a weekly, daily or sessional basis from 7.30am - 6.00pm. Breakfast, lunch and a snack are included and provided by the School’s catering department. Our Holiday Club service runs in line with the extended Bolton School holidays.
The most organised and efficient wraparound facility I have ever come across. We always feel the children are safe and cared for.

BSS Leisure
Separately, Bolton School Services (BSS) Leisure also provides classes and clubs for our own pupils and those in the local area during school holiday periods.
The team looked after my two incredibly well. One child has some additional needs - the team took the time to discuss with me and understand his needs. They remembered him well from the previous holiday camp and were able to allocate a familiar staff member and a little extra supervision. As a result, it was a very positive experience. The club is excellent value for money, especially as it includes a hot meal each day. As a parent, I have full confidence in the team.

Oliver has been coming to BSS Leisure now for nearly four years and enjoys every bit of it. The staff have all the kids’ interest at heart and keep them fully active for the whole day. They create a good rapport and the different activities that they supply over the holidays are outstanding. I have never known a holiday club that offers so much. And the value for money is fantastic - every Term has a varied schedule so the kids are never bored. Over the years I have seen the club go from strength to strength with what they offer. Oliver has been to Delamere Forest several times for an outdoor camp; he always feel safe with all members of the team.
