Sixth Form Open Evenings

Come and find out more about us at our Sixth Form Open Evenings on Thursday 14 November, beginning at 7pm.

Boys and their parents are invited for a 7.00pm start. Girls looking to join Bolton School should arrive at the Riley Centre Reception from 6.30pm onwards. There will be refreshments and then a talk by the Headmistress and Head of Sixth Form for all external candidates and their families at 7pm. After that, families will be taken on a tour of the Departments by one of the Sixth Form guides. For current Bolton School girls and their parents, the Open Evening will begin with registration in the School foyer from 6.45pm onwards.

Across both events, the Heads of Sixth Form and staff will be on hand to explain the AS and Advanced Level courses, to offer advice about subject choices, life in the Sixth Form and to show visitors around the stunning Riley Sixth Form Centre. The Headmaster and Headmistress will both speak on the evening.

Each year the vast majority of our own Year 11 pupils progress into our Sixth Form. We also welcome students from across the region. This is a Sixth Form where students achieve outstanding academic results, enjoy a wide range of extra-curricular and enrichment activities and are given lots of individual attention in small classes. Financial support is available to students through our Open Door Bursary Scheme. Find out more about about fee assistance.

Boys and girls are taught separately at Bolton School, However, there are opportunities for girls and boys to mix socially in our new ultra-modern Riley Sixth Form Centre.
