I Am Looking For

Thank You

The Bolton School Foundation is extremely fortunate in the support and investment it receives from so many members of the School community, who choose to invest in the future of the School and its pupils.

Their donations have allowed us to maintain our position as one of the leading schools in the North of England and fulfil Lord Leverhulme's founding vision of providing an outstanding education to bright children regardless of their background or financial means.

During the 2021-22 academic year, the School community made pledges and gifts totalling £1.96 million to the School, donating £1,711,939 to the Bolton School Bursary Fund, £140,000 in support of hardship funding and £111,627 in support of academic prizes, university scholarships and extra-curricular funding for bursary recipients.

This exceptional generosity enabled the School to spend £3.1 million on means-tested bursarial assistance and hardship grants during the 2021-22 academic year, supporting 342 – one in five - pupils across the two Senior Schools.

We recognise the support of all of our donors in our annual Roll of Honour in our Giving Report, which you can read here or by clicking the image of the Giving Report below
