Pupils from Wigan House in Bolton School Boys’ Division have raised £1,600 for Bolton Green Umbrella, an organisation promoting sustainability and environmentalism.
The Form raised funds through a ‘Skate to School Day’ earlier in the Term, when boys were encouraged to take alternative modes of transport to School for the day, with cycling, walking, rollerblading and jogging being popular options. They were given inspiration by their teacher Mr Wyatt, who skateboarded the 12 miles from his home on the morning.
