Just before Christmas Day, Mrs Jo Field, the Head of Beech House, the Infant School at Bolton School, spent a day volunteering with Urban Outreach, collecting and delivering 'Christmas Dinner on Jesus' hampers to families in need in Bolton.
Across the town, thousands of hampers have been created, collected and delivered to ensure those families needing some help in Bolton have food to share on Christmas Day.
Mrs Field, reflected:
Delivering the food parcels today, which included selection boxes donated by children and families throughout the Bolton School Foundation, and seeing the children's faces light up with bright smiles of happiness and appreciation has filled my heart with joy.
