Boys' Division Charity

Blackburn House, one of the four houses at Bolton School Boys' Division, has made an increased donation to Blackburn Foodbank. Through the collective efforts of pupils and faculty, the House has surpassed their donation of last year by an impressive 22Kg as they delivered over 191Kg of essential supplies.

House Captain, Billy Burrows, said: ‘This remarkable achievement highlights our desire to aid those in need. Blackburn Foodbank plays a really important role in the community and our House's unwavering commitment to this cause reflects the compassion and generosity that defines our ethos. We are grateful for the guidance provided by the foodbank throughout the process.’

House representatives made the donation in person and were given a brief tour of the premises and shown how the items are processed in order to help people every day of the week. The boys were spurred on in their efforts after a series of assemblies, including one from representatives from the foodbank.
