Junior Girls Surprise Mrs Holt with 80s Flashmob Farewell

Pupils and staff at Bolton School's Junior Girls School gave retiring Head Mrs Helen Holt a memorable send-off on the final day of term with a surprise 1980s-themed flashmob.

The performance took place during morning playtime, when Mrs Holt was treated to an energetic routine featuring every year group. Each class performed its own section of choreography before coming together for a lively finale, creating a colourful celebration of Mrs Holt's many years of dedicated service to the School.

The flashmob was choreographed by Miss Eccleshare, who has also created the farewell performances for the previous two retiring Heads, continuing a much-loved tradition within the Junior Girls School.

The celebrations concluded with a reprise of the performance later in the day, giving parents the opportunity to enjoy the surprise on the playground and join in marking Mrs Holt's retirement.

The joyful event provided a fitting tribute to Mrs Holt, whose commitment, care and leadership have had a lasting impact on generations of pupils, staff and families. It was a wonderful way for the Junior Girls School community to thank her and wish her every happiness in her retirement.
