Orb and Sceptre Coronation Competition

In honour of the coronation of King Charles III, Bolton School’s Finance and Personnel Departments held an ‘orb and sceptre’ competition to see who could make the best replica of these iconic items from the Crown Jewels.

Dr Holland from the Boys’ Division staff stepped in to judge the competition and award first, second and third place medals over a celebratory lunch. Staff were also encouraged to vote for their favourite orb and sceptre on the Friday before the coronation, with prizes for these winners as well.
