The Joint Autumn Concert took place at the beginning of November, bringing together parents and family members from the Girls’ and Boys’ Divisions to enjoy a wonderful evening of music.
The occasion began in the Girls’ Division Great Hall with the Senior String Orchestra, followed by a first half featuring the Girls’ Division Lower School and Senior Choirs, Girls’ Division a capella group the Accidentals and several other joint ensembles. Then, after a short interval and refreshments in the Riley Centre, the evening continued in the Boys’ Division Great Hall with the Boys’ Division Drum Corps opening the second half in fine style. This was followed by more joint ensembles, the Boys’ Division Lower School Choir and Senior Guitar Ensemble, and Tuned Percussion Ensembles from both Divisions.
All of the young musicians involved put on a spectacular show for their parents, families and teachers and the Joint Autumn Concert was a great celebration of music across the School.
