Families across the Bolton School Foundation gave generously this Harvest season. The Primary Division and Girls’ Division held their annual collections, and pupils brought in donations of food and toiletries to support local charity Urban Outreach.
Assemblies about the importance of sharing and helping one another were held in the Girls’ Division, Junior Girls’ School, Junior Boys’ School and Infant School in the month of October. The collections were displayed for all to see at these special occasions, where pupils shared the message of Harvest with their schools.
Dave Bagley from Urban Outreach attended the Primary Division assemblies to thank the children and their families for their generous support, and to explain how the food and toiletries will help the most vulnerable people in Bolton.
