Jasper Daniels, a Year 4 pupil in the Junior Boys’ School at Bolton School, is all set for The English Alpine Championships taking place in Italy this month.
He will take lots of confidence into the tournament, having recently enjoyed considerable success in the Ambition Championships in Hinterreit, Austria. In very challenging conditions, he competed in four separate events across four days, earning a place on the podium in each race. He came home from the meeting with two Bronze medals in the Giant Slalom, a Silver in the Slalom and a Gold in the Pro-Slalom. He also scored the highest points on his team for overall rankings across the four days, and helped Precise Racing achieve 3rd position in the teams’ league.
